Cleaning management for vacation rentals
One guest leaves in the morning, the next arrives that afternoon, and cleaning, laundry and a small repair all need attention in between. Knowing someone will stop by isn’t enough: you need to see who owns the job, when they can do it and what still needs attention before arrival.
Rentevo connects cleaning coordination with stays and guest requests. Follow work carried out by your own team or a connected cleaning company, with times, checklists, photos and issues attached to each property.
Start with the window between checkout and arrival
Build the day around the homes that need preparing. A property with no immediate arrival offers more flexibility than an apartment needed a few hours after checkout. Read the expected duration, number of cleaners needed and travel between properties together.
In Rentevo, turnover jobs are generated from bookings when you enable automatic cleaning for a property. You can also create jobs manually. The calendar brings together departures, arrivals and jobs, so an unplanned clean remains visible before it has an assigned cleaner or start time.
Follow the job whether your team or a contractor does it
If you coordinate cleaners directly, assign people and times to jobs. When you use a connected cleaning company, you and the company follow the same job and its history. You don’t have to reconstruct its completion status by searching for the latest group message.
For example, a towel request can be attached to an existing clean rather than becoming a separate task with no clear owner. The cleaner finds the request alongside the job, and you can follow its outcome there. This is an example workflow to adapt to how your team operates.
See what has started, what is finished and what needs a decision
A checklist helps cleaners remember the checks for each property. Before-and-after photos document the work, while an issue report highlights something cleaning won’t resolve, such as a broken lamp or damage that needs reviewing. Set the requirements around the property and service.
Rentevo separates unassigned, planned, in-progress, flagged and completed jobs. Review at-risk arrivals and work that still needs covering. A completed clean doesn’t settle an unresolved issue: you can track it through a follow-up job.
An early arrival request must reach the people preparing the home
Approving early check-in changes the time available to prepare the home. Before confirming it to the guest, check the previous departure, cleaning progress and your team’s availability. Then share the agreed time with everyone involved.
Rentevo lets you keep the conversation and operational request together. Replies about house rules can use your saved information, while an exception requiring a change of plan goes to your team. Receiving a request doesn’t mean the new time has been approved.
Try the guest side of the conversation
The chat below is the homepage demo and uses a sample property. It shows guest replies rather than the cleaning schedule. To explore assignments, checklists and your team’s work, we can walk through one of your arrival and departure days in a guided demo.
Bring a real turnover day to the demo
Choose a few properties, identify who cleans them and bring the issues that make you pick up the phone during the day. We’ll look at jobs and responsibilities, the bookings available through your property management system and any work to add manually.
Our pricing page describes the public guest assistant offer. To discuss cleaning coordination with your team or a contractor, ask for a proposal in the demo based on your workflow and the people involved.
Questions before you start
Do I need a different cleaning company?
You can work with a connected cleaning company or your own team. In the demo we identify who manages and carries out the jobs, starting with the people you already work with.
Are cleans created automatically for every property?
Enable booking-based cleaning for each property where you want it. Manual mode lets you create jobs as needed without turning on automatic generation.
