What is a Listing?
A Listing is the "product" you sell online. It is not the physical house, but its digital representation on portals like Airbnb or Booking.com.
Components of an Effective Listing
A listing that converts (sells) is composed of:
- Title: Engaging and keyword-rich (e.g., "Penthouse Duomo View with Jacuzzi" vs. "Central Apartment").
- Photos: The most important element. They must be professional, bright, and showcase the experience.
- Description: Persuasive copywriting that answers guest questions before they even ask.
- Amenities: A detailed list of what is included (Wi-Fi, AC, Kitchen, etc.).
- Reviews: The social proof that generates trust.
Listing Optimization (SEO)
Just like websites on Google, listings must also be optimized for OTA algorithms to appear in the top results (Ranking). This includes keeping the calendar updated, responding quickly to messages, and obtaining 5-star reviews.
